Since 1919, Howard Gardner Post 85 has stood as a welcoming anchor for East Texas veterans, military families, and advocacy.

We know how to support veterans, because we are veterans. We provide a dignified space where military stories are respected, active camaraderie is forged, and veterans of all generations find mutual support.

Through local advocacy, family support programs, and patriotic youth initiatives, we carry the torch of service forward into the Palestine community.

If you would like to support the veterans in your area, but are unsure how to effectively do that. Please consider The American Legion, which is an organization of veterans serving veterans and the nation.
